Life is a song
Those who have the Sonata "Pastorale" by Ludwig van Beethoven cannot help but have their hearts quicked by its brisk and joyous melody-this truly a lasting masterpiece celebrating life itself. For some unknown reason, when I saw Ms. Lu’s works of photography. My mind immediately drifted back to the “pastorale”. As you approach Ms. Lu’s photography, perhaps you will feel the same way.
The first time I came upon Ms. Lu’s work I was genuinely amazed: it is impressive to see a professional musician create such a variety of photographic artwork. As time progressed. Her work matured, growing both in quantity and quality. Whether it depicted life in the city or rustic scenery, be it a panoramic cropping or still life, each picture gives people a sense of unassuming, carefree gracefulness, like the flowing movement in a stream. The examine her work more closely; there is an uninhibited openness-which is not confined to one particular style-and a feminine finesse that harmoniously blend together in one form. These works breathe naturally and unobtrusively, untainted by any trace of so-called professional technique. Silently they communicate with the viewer, Like an old friend.
From the East to the West, From music to photography, From the auditory to thevisual, Ms Lu’s life has been a long winding road. Rather than a deliberate artisted venture, her photography comes across more as a journey of life’s experience. Both the sweet and sorrow of life are expressed in her artwork. Some say, “Life is like a shooting star.” Besides the obvious reference to the brevity of life, this statement also offeres a profound glimpse into life’s beauty and splendor! Therefore I am more inclined to declare that “Life is A song!” ?And Ms. Lu’s works of photography sincerely present this view. After careful analysis. Would like to express my thoughts about Ms. Lu’s artwork with these phrases: Elegant as Chrysanthemum, Beautiful as an Orchid.
This is an introduction, and a blessing as well. |
